“I can see! As we age seeing anything smaller than your hand is just such a difficult thing. Seems like I am always needing to see something up really close but with my old eyes and the need for ever more light it is just so difficult. I have previously tried to keep those tiny little magnifying glasses around but even they get lost because they are so small. But that shouldn’t be a problem with this one because it is about the size of a wooden hair brush and bright green too. I have made a special place in my work bench draw for it.The lens is nice sized and really gives me a close up look at very small things, like the sprouting seeds in my hydroponic grower baskets. And the thumb switch led light helps to make things bright enough I don’t have to strain to see them in less than bright rooms. I am so happy with this product and have already used it several times in just the first day of having it. It has a nice gripping handle so you wont be letting it slip out of your hand and if you do drop it, the frame around the lens is suppose to provide some shock resistance when it hits the ground.My only wish is that it came with a soft pouch to keep it in so the glass doesn’t get smeared or scuffed. I will probably make one myself, but for now it is safely stored in the heavy duty box it came in. If you need to see close up and need a little extra light on the situation then I highly recommend this product.”

“Just to clarify something off the bat – the headline of the listing mentions 4x and 5x, but I’m not sure why because this is a 3x magnifier. Perhaps it’s a typo, or perhaps the company is getting ready to release magnifiers at those strengths. I hope it’s the latter.This handheld magnifier (aka: magnifying glass) works great for things that are hard to read, like prescription bottles or return address labels, or most directions on packages. For things that are ultra fine print, I still need a stronger lens. I have drugstore cheater glasses, but they aren’t always handy. And they also don’t have the light like handheld magnifiers do.I have other handheld magnifiers at 4x, 5x and 10x, and most have lights like this one, and work well. I mention that because what stands out to me with this particular magnifying glass is that the image is noticeably less distorted than with the others. This is because of the shape of the lens being convex on one side and flat on the other. This handheld is also very light weight, and the size/shape of the handle makes it easy to hold onto.The angle of the built-in LED light is not adjustable, but if you hold the object you’re looking at centered about 3-4 inches below the lens, and then look through the lens from about 15-18″” away, the shining light does a good job of illuminating what you’re trying to see. The light requires three LR-44 button-type batteries, which are fairly easy to find nowadays. An added bonus is that the battery compartment is closed with a tiny screw, which means toddlers are less likely to open the battery compartment and swallow the button cells (which can cause great harm or even be fatal).I ordered the neon green and it is very attractive. The bright color makes it a little easier to spot on the table or desk when there’s a bunch of other stuff around it.I really like this magnifying glass, and I’m sure I will use it a lot. I also hope this company plans to sell models with higher magnification and slightly larger diameter. A 5x non-distorting lens in a 4″” or 5″” size with the light would also be awesome!”

I can’t believe how awesome this magnifying glass is. I immediately noticed how this magnifying glass was so easy and comfortable to hold with its non slippery handle. Any snd all tiny print is much easier to read with the magnification going to 3x the normal. The built-in light increases visibility as well and a much appreciated addition.
